Mercer Family Chiropractic is absolutely the best in Sarasota! 10 weeks ago I was in excruciating pain and thought it was my knees. Turns out the problem was in my spine and now I am walking painless, taller and exceedingly appreciative of the care I received. From the very first visit I knew I was in the most kind, caring and professional office I have ever experienced. The entire staff is top notch!

I started going to this practice under Dr. Carle. He asked questions and was attentive. Since he sold the practice to Dr. Mercer, I feel it has become a churn and burn office. The ladies at the front desk are the absolute only reason I kept going back as long as I did. You go in and fill out a computer screen giving a basic description of your issues! Then go in and get an adjustment. When in the room with Dr. Mercer, he barely asks any questions to narrow down what is going on. I have fibromyalgia and my issues change almost daily, but I got the exact same adjustment every time I went in. To the point that I knew when to be in what position. I've been going to chiropractors for over 20yrs and grew up in the capital of chiropractics. The lack of interest in you actually feeling better is alarming. The front end cares more about you than the doctor! He also took all of the Bible decorating down and made it a boring generic office! It was nice going in and seeing the animals and different rooms with god's different creations!

Dr. Mercer strives to deliver high quality care for all of his patients, and we are very sorry that you feel like your experience did not reflect this. However, to say that he has "lack of interest in you feeling better," is simply not true. We are taken back by that statement and do not appreciate false information being posted about the office. As for the renovations of the office, that is something Dr. Carle initiated and supported. Our office decor may have been updated, but our core values do not change. We follow a high standard of care here at Mercer Family Chiropractic. Since the transition in ownership, our clinical approach has remained focused on delivering efficient, consistent, and results oriented care. While our systems and workflow may be more streamlined than what you were previously accustomed to, that is intentional and designed to serve patients effectively without unnecessary delays. We take patient feedback very seriously, but we also stand confidently behind the quality, integrity, and intent of the care we provide. If you haven't done Shockwave Therapy, you are missing out. Back in May 2024 I got diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. After getting two injections in my foot, sleeping with a boot at night, changing my shoe inserts , and stretching every night, NOTHING was helping. I couldn't even walk sometimes. I went to see Dr. Mercer because of neck pain, he spoke to me about shockingwave therapy and how it could help my plantar fasciitis. I canceled my foot appointment and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, after 8 treatments let me tell you, my pain is gone. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus and Dr. Mercer. My last treatment was back in July 2025 and I am free of pain. Do your research and see if Shockwave Therapy is for you before you decide on doing surgery. P.s. my neck pain is gone as well.

Great visit, I was honestly a little nervous about going to a chiropractor especially for prenatal care but felt at ease once I was there. Dr. mercer was very helpful, knowledgeable, and informative.
